Commissions
Commission a portrait you'll keep forever.
A beloved pet, a person, or a stretch of coast you love — painted by hand in oil. Brad, my youngest son, was one of my first portraits.
How it works:
- Share — send a few favorite photos and tell us about your subject.
- Plan — we confirm size, medium, timeline, and price, then take a 50% deposit to begin.
- Paint & deliver — you'll see progress along the way and approve before it ships, hand-delivered locally in San Diego.
Sizes & investment (starting prices, oil on canvas):
Petite 8–11" — pet from $650 / portrait from $750
Studio 12–18" — pet from $1,200 / portrait from $1,450
Statement 20–24" — pet from $2,000 / portrait from $2,400
Gallery 30"+ — pet from $3,200 / portrait from $3,800
A 50% deposit reserves your place on the calendar; the balance is due once you approve the finished painting. Rush timelines available for holidays and gifts.
